Police and city

Police and city towing.

When a police department calls, the tow goes on our books and into secure storage.

Mr. C's Towing is contracted by police departments across the service area to handle tows at their request: emergency calls, impounds, and violation enforcement.

We store police-ordered vehicles until the releasing agency's requirements are met. The release process varies by department, so the authorization has to come from the agency that ordered the tow.

  • Emergency tows at an agency's request
  • Impound storage
  • Violation enforcement tows
  • Release only after agency authorization

Call dispatch any hour for a tow, a recovery, or a roadside problem.

The public side of the business covers local and long-distance towing, emergency tows, flatbed service, recovery and winch work, vehicle storage, lockouts, tire changes, jump starts, and fuel delivery.

  • Cars in assigned spaces or double parked
  • Vehicles in fire lanes, red zones, or blocking access
  • Cars blocking garages or dumpsters
  • Vehicles in accessible spaces without a placard

Storage and release

Secure storage, around the clock.

Every tow ends somewhere. Ours end in fenced yards with a person on duty.

Mr. C's Towing keeps three storage yards behind its two main offices. Vehicles are released day or night, once the release requirements are complete. Call dispatch before you come to confirm the yard and the paperwork.

How a call runs

Four steps from call to release.

The details vary by agency and yard. The shape of the process does not.

  1. 01

    Call dispatch

Give the plate, the vehicle, and where it was parked or towed from.

  2. 02

    Confirm the yard

Dispatch verifies the vehicle, the storage location, and any agency release instruction.

  3. 03

    Bring the paperwork

A valid driver's license, the registration, the keys, and payment. If you are not the owner, a completed release authorization.

  4. 04

    Collect the vehicle

Release is completed at the yard. Payment is cash, debit, or credit; no checks.
