About Mr. C's
A South Gate tow operation, run around the clock.
In business since 1986 in Los Alamitos and in South Gate since 2002. Two offices, three storage yards, and a dispatch desk that stays manned.

The long version
From Los Alamitos in 1986 to South Gate in 2002.
Mr. C's Towing began in Los Alamitos in 1986. The South Gate operation opened in 2002, putting a yard and dispatch desk on Mason Street.
Today the company runs two main offices and three storage yards, all manned 24/7/365 for service calls and vehicle release.
The work is split three ways: police and city tows, public towing and roadside service, and private property enforcement. The same dispatch desk handles all three.
The operation
Trucks, yards, and the people on duty.
Flatbeds and wreckers, fenced storage, and a customer counter at each office.

Vehicles are stored behind a fence and released only after the paperwork is complete. The yards are staffed for service calls and vehicle release at every hour.

At the counter
A release is a paperwork job.

A vehicle leaves the yard when the release is complete: the right identification, the registration, the keys, and payment.
If someone else is collecting the vehicle, the registered owner has to complete a release authorization first. That is the whole job at the counter, and it is faster when the paperwork is right.
